Pau Fonseca Casas

Dr. Pau Fonseca is a professor at the Department of Statistics and Operations Research of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Researcher at inLab. He has a Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research and a M.S. in Computer Science. He has participated in several competitive projects related to the simulation and transfer of Technology, such as the simulation of the Barcelona airport, or the simulation of the Almirall Prodesfarma expedition plant. His main research interests include environmental and social Simulation, and the formal representation of simulation models; This interest has led him to collaborate with the ITU-T in the definition of the new version of the Specification and Description Language (SDL-2010).
